    About the Author: Rosie Daley was born in New Jersey. She trained as a chef at the acclaimed Cal-a-Vie spa just north of San Diego, where she met Oprah Winfrey. Daley worked as Oprah’s personal chef for five years before publishing her first book. She is also the co-author, with Andrew Weil, M.D., of The Healthy Kitchen: Recipes for a Better Body, Life, and Spirit. She lives in Encinitas, California.
